P3019 – 85: - Charging- Vehicle inlet CP signal frequency - signal above allowable range Overview: ISO Code P3019 - 85 Customer Symptom Vehicle would not go into charging mode Fault Effects (On Vehicle) The vehicle is drivable but charging will not happen Lamp Status (If Any) Charging fault indication lamp is Blinking on the cluster Fault Detection Condition Charging stopped since Control pilot signal frequency can’t be ensured Normal Operating Condition Charging will happen Probable Trouble Area CP line connection wiring Healing Condition If DTC trigger condition is healed, DTC is present only in memory Component Details: CP is most important communication cable between vehicle and station Preliminary Checks: NA Trouble Shooting: - 1. Remove the LV battery connections. Step No. Description Check point If Yes If No 1. Check for continuity between Vehicle Charging gun inlet and EVCU Check for continuity between Vehicle charging gun inlet CP pin C448A-6 and EVCU CP pin C776B98 Problem is in EVCU. Action: Replace EVCU and try Fast Charging Problem is in wiring harness between Vehicle Charging gun inlet and EVCU Action: Repair harness DTC’s confirmation: - After rectification, read DTC using TML diagnostic tool and Clear the DTC Ensure no DTC is in defect/confirmed state before handing over to customer
