P3062 - 12: - Interlock Charge plug - circuit short to battery Overview: ISO Code P3062 - 12 Customer Symptom Vehicle would not go into charging mode Fault Effects (On Vehicle) The vehicle is drivable but charging will not happen Lamp Status (If Any) Vehicle charging symbol is not seen when after the charging gun is plugged in vehicle charging inlet socket Fault Detection Condition Charging session stopped, since Gun Lock/Unlock Error detected and Gun locking can’t be ensured. Gun Lock actuator H Bridge +ve /A67line short circuit to battery detected Normal Operating Condition Charging will happen Probable Trouble Area LV wiring of Charging gun lock actuator Healing Condition If DTC trigger condition is healed, DTC is present only in memory Component Details: Charging gun lock actuator is used to lock the charging gun into inlet. Preliminary Checks: Check physically if anything obstructing movement of the actuator pin. Trouble Shooting: - 1. Remove the LV battery connections. Step No. Description Check point If Yes If No 1. Check for continuity between Vehicle Inlet Motor Lock positive pin and EVCU positive pin Check for continuity between Vehicle Inlet Motor Lock positive pin C448-4 and EVCU side positive pin C776B67 Go to step 2 Problem is in wiring harness between Vehicle Inlet Motor Lock and EVCU positive pins Action: Repair harness 2. Check for continuity between Vehicle Inlet Motor Lock negative pin Check for continuity between Vehicle Inlet Motor Lock negative pin C448-1 Problem is in Vehicle Inlet Motor Lock Action: Replace Problem is in wiring harness between Vehicle Inlet Motor Lock and EVCU
