P302A - 85: - DC Fast charging S2 switch feedback - signal above allowable range Overview: ISO Code P302A - 85 Customer Symptom Vehicle would not go into charging mode in fast charging Fault Effects (On Vehicle) The vehicle is drivable. DC fast charging will not take place if this defect is active. Slow charging may be possible depending on the root cause of error. DC Fast Charging stopped, since S2 Switch feedback can’t be ensured Lamp Status (If Any) Charging fault indication lamp is ON, on the cluster Fault Detection Condition Charging stopped, since S2 Switch feedback can’t be ensured When S2 Switch feedback signal line is short circuit to battery Normal Operating Condition DC fast charging is happening Probable Trouble Area EVCU ground and battery supply connections Healing Condition If DTC trigger condition is healed, DTC is present only in memory Component Details: S2 switch is part of EVCU which is used in CP Communication. Preliminary Checks: NA Trouble Shooting: - 1. Remove the LV battery connections. Step No. Description Check point If Yes If No 1. Remove LV battery connection, Recouple EVCU connectors Try Fast Charging and Check for reoccurrence of fault code P302A-85 using TML diagnostic tool. Go to Step 2
