Connect all the inline connectors between VCU and switch and check for end-to-end continuity in cruise switch harness Check if there is a continuity between 1. C776A Pin 11 and the Regen switch status (Connector C812- pin 4) 2. VCU connector C776A Pin 62 and the Regen switch GND (Connector C812- pin 3) Connection is okay Go to step 2 Check for harness damage and replace the harness 2. Check the short to ground at regen switch Check if the resistance value is zero between Regen switch status and Regen switch GND NOTE: When no switch is pressed, resistance value of switch should be (6830 +/- 5% ohm) Problem is with Regen switch Action: Replace Regen switch Go to step 3 3. Check for the short at VECU pin side Check the continuity between K11 pin to K62 pin of VECU Short circuit to GND at VECU pin Problem with VECU pin Action: Replace VECU End DTC’s confirmation: - After rectification, ensure the following points by referring to VECU parameter list using TML diagnostic tool before handing over to customer. DID No Vehicle Parameter Name Expected Value when switch is not pressed 34E0 Regen control switch analog input count 157 +/- 5 1. Vehicle should be in Ignition ON Mode
