P30B1 - 11: Eco/Sports Switch sensor input to VECU - circuit short to GND Overview: ISO Code P30B1 - 11 Customer Symptom Vehicle is operable, but mode change cannot happen Fault Effects (On Vehicle) Vehicle is operable with default – City mode Lamp Status (If Any) Service lamp ON Fault Detection Condition Short to GND is detected by the vehicle controller for Eco & Sports switch if input value is less than lower threshold value Normal Operating Condition Eco & Sports switch input is within the operating range and accordingly mode change happens Probable Trouble Area Eco/Sports Mode selection Switch LV wiring Harness Powertrain VCU connector Healing Condition If DTC trigger condition is healed, DTC is present only in memory Component Details: Eco/Sports switch is used to change the Drive modes – Eco/ City/ Sports. Default City Mode is selected. Preliminary Checks: 1. Check for loose connection of LV wiring harness between VCU and Eco/Sports switch 2. Check for damage to LV wiring harness connections between VCU and Eco/Sports switch 3.
