P30B4 – 15: AC charging inlet temperature sensor on line connection – circuit short to battery or open ISO Code P30B5 – 4B Customer Symptom AC Slow Charging is happening at slow rate. Fault Effects (On Vehicle) Slow charging happens with derated mode. Lamp Status (If Any) Service lamp ON (Charging TT) Fault Detection Condition Vehicle controller detected the AC charging inlet temperature sensor on line connection is short to battery or open Normal Operating Condition Slow charging works normally if AC charging inlet temperature sensor value on line connection is within the operating range Probable Trouble Area AC charging inlet temperature sensor LV wiring Harness Powertrain VCU connector Healing Condition If DTC trigger condition is healed, DTC is present in memory If DTC healed in same charge cycle; VCU will not come out of degraded charging mode. Require next charge cycle for full performance charging Component Details: AC Charging inlet temperature is used to measure the temperature value of line and neutral of AC Supply mains in vehicle charging inlet, while slow charging. Preliminary Checks: 1. Check for loose connection of LV wiring harness between VCU and AC charging temperature sensor on line connection 2. Check for damage to LV wiring harness connections between VCU and AC charging temperature sensor on line connection 3. Visually inspect AC charging temperature sensor on line connection for damage
