START Connect Diagnostic tool and Run Input Test Routineand operate the switches as mentioned in the inputswitch test routine specification. Is DTC B220C - 12 logged by Routine? Disconnect vehicle ba ttery connection. (Please follow the safety guidelines) Check BCM and combi switch connectors fort erminal ba ckout Are connectors loose? 1.Remove BCM Connector. 2.Perform visual check of connectors for pins bentor damaged etc. Is connector faulty? 1.Put combi switch in OFF state. 2.Check continuity between BCM connector pin [C1-24] with battery [C3-2/ C3-1] Continuity Found? 1.Remove Combi Switch mating connector 2. Check continuity between BCM harness sideconnector pin [C1-24] and Front Washer contact at combi switch [pin details TBD]. Perform thevisual checkof connectors for pin bend or damaged etc. Is connector faulty? Check continuity at combi switchFront Washer contact[ pin details TBD] with ground [ pin details TBD] Continuity found? BCM ECU Faulty STOP YES NO YES NO Reconnect connectors firmly Correct connector fault (Terminals Bend) YES NO Correct BCM Side wiringharness (Short to Battery) NO YES Correct connector fault (Terminal Bend) Correct connector fault at combi switch mating connector (Open Circuit) YES NO YES NO Replace BCM ECU 1.
