(Make sure is key is taken out). xxi. Enter into Diagnostic Session = Extended. (Send service request $10 03). xxii. Unlock the ECU for performing EOL operations i.e. for writing configuration parameters and flashing. Perform the following steps: i. Request Security Access Seed (Send service request $27 07). ii. Process the got 4 byte (XXXX) seed to Produce 4 byte security key. iii. Send the security key to unlock the ECU. (Send service request $27 08 YYYY). xxiii. Send service request Tester Present. (Send service request $3E 00) xxiv. Send service request $ 31 01 34 0A. xxv. Check Start routine response of the routine (71 01 34 0A XX YY). Where XX = RoutineStatusRecord, RoutineInformation and YY = Response additional data. xxvi. Read DID 4223 and verify value as 0x01 (Locked). xxvii. Give ECU reset (Diagnostics Request) ($11 01). Wait for 3 sec after reset. xxviii. Power Latch - Ignition->OFF->ON transition. (Make sure is key is taken out).
