SPD sends spare smart keys to dealer. 2) Dealer calls customer with his vehicle. 3) Delete all lost key and wearable and add new keys by using the diagnostic tester. (Refer section 2.3 “Smart key learning procedure”.) 4) Tests vehicle with new smart keys and wearable (if any) and return the vehicle back to customer. 4.4. Addition of extra smart key’s or wearable’s 1) Following points are applicable if extra smart key to be added, a. Customer informs dealer with smart key-tag number. b. Dealer orders spare smart keys to SPD with key-tag number. c. SPD prepares smart key from blank smart key on key duplicating machine and sends spare smart key to dealer. 2) Dealer calls customer with his vehicle. 3) Add new keys or wearable by using the diagnostic tester. (Refer section 2.4 “Smart key addition procedure”). 4) Tests vehicle with original, new smart keys and wearable (if any) and return the vehicle back to customer. 4.5. If PEPS is replaced 1) Dealer order the new PEPS from SPD & receives the same. 2) Replace old PEPS ECU with new PEPS ECU (Refer section 2.2 “ECU replacement procedure”). 3) Test the functions and return vehicle back to customer.
