Step 1: Connect Diagnostics Tool to OBD connector. Step 2: Inhale using 22 Service: Read and store DID 465F contents from existing IC using the Diagnostics Tool – Inhale using 22 Service. Step 3: Fit New IC and access default session and then access extended session. Step 4: IC compatibility check: We should check if the new IC fitted on vehicle is compatible for Replacement. Download VC data from PLM, which should contain16R part numbers. Read following DID from IC and compare them with downloaded VC Data Sr No DID Parameter Name 1 F187 Vehicle manufacturer Spare part number Above parameter in IC should match with PLM data. Step 5: Send Tester Present to keep ECU in Extended Session. Step 6: Request Security Access. Step 7: Exhale using 2E Service: Write DID 465F – Exhale using 2E Service. Step 8: Service Reminder Requirements: During Cluster Replacement- inhale, Tool shall read DID 4629 also (Accumulated distance and Time) from existing Cluster. During exhale, Tool shall calculate new Intervals for both Distance and Time with respect to below table based on vehicle platform and write accordingly in DID 4628.
