Author: ERC Page: 83 of 301 B1F5E-15:- Rear Blower Motor Drive Signal - Circuit Short to battery/open; ISO Code B1F5E - 15 Customer Symptom Blower noise and annoyance Fault Effects (On Vehicle) Blower permanently on Lamp Status (If Any) There will be no impact on other FATC/CCM feature Rear Blower will be OFF Fault Detection Condition There will be no impact on other FATC/CCM feature Rear Blower will be OFF Normal Operating Condition With the Blower control circuit connected to the harness and with Ignition ON, check the voltage between pin no 1 of blue connector & battery of the Connector. The voltage range should be in between 1.73 to 8.71 V. Probable Trouble Area Drive line is short circuited to battery Healing Condition NA Component Details: The blower is used for moving air from either an outside source--referred to as vented air--or from cabin air past the heater core or air conditioning evaporator. In doing so, it causes a heat transfer either to the inside of the car or from the inside to the outside. Preliminary Checks: Switch On the IGN & perform the following check. 1) Connect the Diagnostics tool & check the DTC fault code 2) Read ECU parameter value Rear Blower Speed Output (Internal Value) for Blower speed with the diagnostic tool
