FATC that is replaced in place of a damaged one will be prior tested and in proper working condition. On connecting new FATC in vehicle, FATC should work without any issues once the calibration is done. 3.1. Replacement Process The FATC replacement process is done when FATC is damaged for various reasons. The FATC replacement process has two aspects as given below: 1. Mechanical 2. Electrical 3.1.1. Mechanical If there are any damages on either the CCM or CCH then for the mechanical replacement & assembly sequence, please refer “FATC Information Fitment Drawing”. 3.1.2. Electrical The electrical aspect of FATC replacement is to ensure that ECU is having the required SW. 1. Switch OFF the Ignition. 2. For Mechanical removal of the CCM or CCH, refer the “FATC Information Fitment Drawing”. 3. Depending on the ECU(CCM or CCH) to be replaced a. For the CCM, remove both connectors (Vehicle side connector and HVAC side Connector) from ECU. b. For the CCH, remove the twenty four-pin connector from ECU. c. Replace with new ECU (CCM or CCH). d. Assemble the ECU (CCM or CCH) as per the assembly sequence instruction. Refer “FATC Information Fitment Drawing”. e. Connect both (Vehicle side connector and HVAC side Connector) to the CCM. f. Connect the twenty four-pin connector to the CCH ECU. 4. Connect the Diagnostics tool to OBD connector.
