P a g e | 118 U1014-09:- Ignition Switch-Component Failure Overview: ISO Code U1014-09 Customer Symptom Warning Light Displayed Fault Effects (On Vehicle) ABS, ESC & EBD - Degraded Function Lamp Status (If Any) ABS, ESC & EBD - OFF Fault Detection Condition Ignition line Normal Operating Condition ESC is functional in between 10 V to 16 V , IGN input to I VBAC ECU must be within range 10V to 16V Probable Trouble Area 1. Fuse of the Ignition supply Fuse Box. 2. Connection of the Ignition line (to ECU) or the contact points (Plug-in connectors) are corroded (Voltage drop) 3. Battery discharged or insufficient charging capacity. 4. Check Ignition line at pin no 6,whether the pin is backed out Healing Condition Rectification of Ignition line interruption to I VBAC ECU Component Details: NA Preliminary Checks: • Examine the Ignition line fuse from fuse box and exchange if defective. • Check Contact point at (Pin no 6) is corroded/ the ignition line has any interruption from main supply . • Check IGN supply at pin no. 6 at I VBAC ECU 46 pin connector.
