Active return and End stop disabled Lamp Status (If Any) Warning Lamp ON ; Relay ON ; Motor ON Fault Detection Condition Steering Angle Sensor Is not Calibrated Normal Operating Condition PSCM should provide assist if steering wheel is steered after engine is cranked. Normal operating range: ECU will be awake from 6V to 24V. Full assistance is b/w 10V to 18V Low volt. reduced assistance is b/w 8.3V to 10V High volt. reduced assistance is b/w 18V to 24V Probable Trouble Area PSCM Steering angle is not calibrated. SAS Module failure / Wire harness Open / Connector failure / Poor Connection / No SAS Initialization Healing Condition After SAS Calibration Component Details: Steering angle sensor - It measures changes in the steering geometry between the steering wheel and the road wheels. Steering angle sensor calibration permanently stores the current steering wheel position as the straight-ahead position in the steering angle sensor memory. Angle sensor is non contact type hall effect sensor with PWM output. Absolute angle position is available at power on. Preliminary Checks: NA Trouble Shooting:
