Check – T3 Carry following checks when foreign object detection (FOD) error is displayed on the instrument cluster as shown in figure 10: o Check if any metallic objects, such as coins, clips and precious metals are detected on the charging pad or between the charging pad and the Smart phone. The metallic objects heat up and hence the charging function is halted to prevent overheating. Figure 11: Foreign objects on Anti-skid Mat o The Charging shall resume when the foreign matter is removed from the surface of the charging pad and charging mode shall be published on HU screen. o Normal operating mode resumes with real time status displayed on the HU.
