Short Circuit between CAN HIGH (132) to Vbatt Rectify the wiring harness Go to next step 2 Short Circuit between CAN HIGH (132) to GND, Rectify the wiring harness Go to next step 3 Short Circuit between CAN LOW (144) to Vbatt Rectify the wiring harness Go to next step 4 Short Circuit between CAL_H (144) to GND, Rectify the wiring harness Go to next step 6 Check the resistance between pin 132 & pin 144 of the vehicle connector it should be approximately 60 ohms Go to next step Check for terminal back out of the wiring harness at ECU & instrument cluster CAN wire 7 There should be continuity between vehicle side wiring harness with following pins. IPC CAN HIGH (pin. 6) to ECM CAN HIGH (C1, 132) and IPC CAN LOW (pin. 5) to ECM CAN LOW (C1, 144) Continuity should be there. Go to next step Establish continuity as per the Circuit schematic. 8 If fault still persists Replace EMS ECU Repeat above procedure for reconfirmation
