Check whether the EMS ECU is receiving supply and Ground Go to Step 2 Rectify wiring harness connections as per schematic 2. Is there wiring harness electrical continuity between ECU pin 216 to Blower position Resistor Control Module pin ‘H’. Go to Step 3 Establish continuity by rectifying harness connections as per the Circuit schematic 3. Is there wiring harness electrical continuity between ECU pin 130 to LPM Module pin no.1. Go to Step 4 Establish continuity by rectifying harness connections as per the Circuit schematic 4. Is 5V supply at Blower position Resistor Control Module pin ‘E’. Go to Step 5 Establish continuity by rectifying harness connections as per the Circuit schematic 5. Are there any pins damaged at EMS ECU Connector Replace the connector or wiring harness Go to step 6 6. Are there any pins backed out from the EMS ECU Connector Rectify/Replace Connectors Go to Step 7 7. Is ECU Pin 130 Open, Short Circuited to GND. Repair the harness as per the schematic Go to Step 8 8. Fault Still Persists? Fault still persists then Replace EMS ECU Follow the steps again for reconfirmation Detailed Description: This document explains the strategy that micro controller to deliver the PWM output according to the Blower position requested by the user through the selection switch.
