ECU Power-Fail Component Details: pressure regulator is a valve that automatically cuts off the flow of a gas at a certain pressure. Regulators are used to allow high-pressure supply lines or tanks to be reduced to safe and/or usable pressures for various applications. Preliminary Checks: 1) Loose/ Damaged Connections between Pressure Regulator and EMS ECU. 2) Check for back out of pins at both Pressure Regulator connector and ECU connector. 3) Check for damage of pins at both Pressure Regulator connector and ECU connector. 4) Check the continuity from Pressure Regulator connector pins to the ECU pins. Trouble Shooting:- Step Checks IF YES IF NO 1. Check the continuity from Regulator pin to the ECU pins 249. Rectify/Replace Connectors Go to Step 2. 2. Check for back out of pins at both Regulator connector and ECU connector Rectify/Replace Connectors Go to Step 3. 3. Check for damage of pins at both Regulator connector and ECU connector Rectify/Replace Connectors Go to Step 4. 4. Pressure Regulator Pin open circuit Rectify/Replace Connectors Go to Step 5. 5. Fault Still Persists? Replace Sensor and then Fault still persists then Replace EMS ECU Follow the steps again for reconfirmation DTC’s confirmation:- Recheck the fault using TML Diagnostic tool, Fault shall not appear.
