AMF sensor feedback open circuit or short circuit to ground 2. AMF Sensor connector loose connection 3. ECU connector loose connection 4. Wiring connector breakage 5.AMF Sensor malfunctioning 6. ECU/AMF Connector pin backout. 1.MIL Lamp On 2.Reduced Vehicle Performance Lamp status: Check Engine Lamp off Malfunction Indicator Lamp on Checkpoints: 1. Check Battery Voltage at Ignition off (Nominal Range 11.5V ~ 12.8V) Trouble Shooting Steps: Sr. No. Steps Specifications Step 1 Check the AMF sensor connector is connected properly. - Step 2 Check for any damage or bend in ECU terminal pin - Step 3 Check for continuity between AMF sensor connector pins 3, 1, 2, 4 and ECU pins B45, B47, B17,B65 respectively. If there is any missing continuity, correct the wiring. Check the End to end continuity using multimeter Step 4 Check the sensor physically for any damage. - Step 5 If the problem persists, replace the sensor - Verification condition: Drive the vehicle in city and highway condition
