ECU reads low injector supply voltage 2. Battery voltage is low due to issue in charging circuit 3. Faulty ECU 1.CE Lamp ON 2. Vehicle starts with abnormal noise and vibration. 3. Reduced Vehicle Performance 4. Disabled drive mode option Lamp status: Check Engine Lamp on Malfunction Indicator Lamp off Checkpoints: 1. Check Battery Voltage at key on (min 11.5 V) 2. Check the battery condition (Terminal damage/wear, Acid leak, low Specific gravity, low acid level) Trouble Shooting Steps: Sr. No. Steps Specifications Step 1 Check the Battery voltage with the ignition switch on. If the voltage is too low, then recharge the battery Nominal range - 11.5 ~ 12.8V Step 2 Check wiring harness for circuit continuity between injector connectors and ECU connector – Cylinder 1 injector pins 1,2 to ECU pins A23, A02; Cylinder 2 injector pins 1,2 to ECU pins A65, A86; Cylinder 3 injector pins 1,2 to ECU pins A64, A85; Cylinder 4 injector pins 1,2 to ECU pins A22, A01 respectively. If there is any missing continuity, correct it. - Step 3 In engine running condition remove one of the injector connectors and check voltage across it (slight fluctuation will be there but note down the highest value) and if ECU value is lower than the measured value then replace ECU. Injector fault may appear while disconnecting the injector connector. Clear the fault after reconnecting it.
