ECU connection 2. ECU hardware malfunction 1.CE Lamp On 2. Engine won’t start Lamp status: Check Engine Lamp on Malfunction Indicator Lamp off Checkpoints: Check Battery Voltage at Ignition off (Nominal Range 11.5V ~ 12.8V) Trouble Shooting Steps: Sr. No. Steps Specifications Step 1 Check whether the ECU connector is connected properly - Step 2 Check injector connectors are connected properly. Check the continuity. Cylinder 1 injector pins 1,2 to ECU pins A23, A02; Cylinder 2 injector pins 1,2 to ECU pins A65, A86; Cylinder 3 injector pins 1,2 to ECU pins A64, A85; Cylinder 4 injector pins 1,2 to ECU pins A22, A01 respectively. If there is any missing continuity, correct it. - Step 3 If the problem persists, replace the ECU - Verification condition: Drive the vehicle in city and highway condition. Circuit Description: ECM injects fuel in the cylinder with the help of injectors. ECM monitors the engine sensors and determines the precise quantity of fuel to be injected. ECM turns the injector on for a precise amount of time referred to as injection pulse width
