Coolant sensor wiring open circuit 2. Coolant Temp sensor connection 3. Electrical wiring damage 4. ECU connector loose connection 5. Coolant Sensor malfunctioning 6. ECU connector pin backout 7. ECU terminal pin bend or damaged 1.MIL Lamp On 2.Cylinder balancing disabled 3.Reduced vehicle performance 4.Disabled drive mode option Lamp status: Check Engine Lamp off Malfunction Indicator Lamp on Checkpoints: Check Battery Voltage at Ignition off (Nominal Range 11.5V ~ 12.8V) Trouble Shooting Steps: Sr. No. Steps Specifications Step 1 Check whether the coolant sensor connector is connected properly. Remove and connect again properly. - Step 2 Check for continuity between sensor connector pins 1, 2, and ECU pins A35, A4 respectively. - Step 3 Check for any damage in the coolant sensor connector or ECU connector - Step 4 Check for any pin backout in coolant connector or ECU connector - Step 5 Check for any damage or bend in ECU terminal pin - Step 6 Check the ECU connector is connected properly - Step 7 Check the sensor physically - Step 8 If the problem persists, replace the sensor - Verification condition: Drive the vehicle in city and highway condition.
