Soot inside DPF - Calculated from Engine out model is high 2. Clogging of DPF with soot 3. Vehicle not driven as recommended in user manual 1.MIL Lamp ON 2. Reduced vehicle performance 3. Disabled drive mode option Lamp status: Check Engine Lamp on Malfunction Indicator Lamp off DPF lamp blinking Checkpoints: Check for any other faults related Injector, VGT, EGR, AMF, DP sensor etc. If present, address it first. Trouble Shooting Steps: Sr. No. Steps Specifications Step 1 If vehicle is not driven in suitable condition, DPF filter will be overloaded with soot - Step 2 Check the intake air path for any leakage. Arrest it, if leaking - Step 3 Do Service regen of DPF. Tool should result proper end of regen Follow DPF regeneration procedure mentioned in service manual.
