EGR EVRV connector wiring open circuit 2. EGR EVRV connector loose connection 3. Electrical wiring damage 4. ECU connector loose connection 5. EVRV malfunctioning 6. ECU connector pin backout 7. ECU terminal pin damage or bend 1. CE Lamp ON Lamps status: Check Engine Lamp on Malfunction Indicator Lamp off Checkpoints: 1. Check for nominal battery voltage at Ignition off (Nominal range – 11.5V to 12.8V) Trouble Shooting Steps: Sr. No. Steps Specifications Step 1 Check whether the EGR EVRV connector is connected properly. Remove and connect again properly - Step 2 Check whether the ECU connector is connected properly - Step 3 Check for continuity between EGR EVRV connector pins 1, 2 and ECU pins (B3 or B5 or B6) T87, ECU pin A72 respectively. If there is a discontinuity, correct the wiring. - Step 4 Check the ECU terminal pin for any damage or bend - Step 5 Check for any pin backout or damage in the ECU & EGR EVRV connector - Step 6 Check the EVRV physically for any damage. -
