EGR EVRV wiring short circuit to supply 2. EGR EVRV connector loose connection 3. Electrical wiring damage 4. ECU connector loose connection 5. EVRV malfunctioning 6. ECU terminal pin damage/bend 1.CE lamp ON Lamp status: Check Engine Lamp on Malfunction Indicator Lamp off Checkpoints: 1. Check for nominal battery voltage at Ignition off (Nominal range – 11.5V to 12.8V) Trouble Shooting Steps: Sr. No. Steps Specifications Step 1 Check whether the EGR EVRV connector is connected properly. Remove and connect again properly - Step 2 Check whether the ECU connector is connected properly - Step 3 Check for continuity between EGR EVRV connector pins 1, 2 and ECU pins (B3 or B5 or B6)T87, ECU pin A72 respectively. If there is a discontinuity, correct the wiring. - Step 4 Check the ECU terminal pin for any damage or bend - Step 5 Check for any pin backout or damage in the ECU & EGR EVRV connector - Step 6 Check the EVRV physically for any damage. - Step 7 If the problem persists, replace the EVRV - Verification condition:
