EGR valve stuck condition 2. EGR valve damage 3. Incorrect EGR valve learning 4. EGR connector loose connection 5. Electrical wiring damage 6. ECU connector loose connection/ Pin backout 7. ECU terminal pin bend or damaged 1.MIL Lamp On 2.Reduced vehicle performance 3. Engine misfiring possible 4. Disabled drive mode option Lamp status: Check Engine Lamp off Malfunction Indicator Lamp on Checkpoints: Check for any other Electrical faults related to EGR or ECU are present. If present, address it first. Check whether the battery voltage at ignition off is nominal (~ 11.5 V to 12.8 V) Trouble Shooting Steps: Sr. No. Steps Specifications Step 1 Check whether the EGR connector is connected properly. Remove and connect again properly - Step 2 Check for continuity between EGR connector pins 1, 2, 4,5,6 and ECU pins A68, A73,A45,A89,A56 respectively. - Step 3 Check the ECU terminal pin for any damage or bend - Step 4 Check the EGR connector physically - Step 5 Perform EGR valve Anti-stuck routine using service tool twice and check whether the fault is cleared - Step 6 Perform EGR actuator test using service tool. At engine not running condition, Demand 0% and 100% of EGR position. EGR position feedback should match the demand -
