Component Details: The Air Flow Sensor is used to determine the actual flow of air mass charged into the engine. That value is used for the regulation of exhaust gas recirculation and fuel quantity limitation within the engine control. In addition, air mass flow sensor has a temperature sensor that is used to determine the intake temperature. The sensor is mounted between the fresh air filter and the turbo charger.
