IMV wiring short to supply 2. IMV connector loose connection 3. Foreign particles inside IMV connector 4. Electrical wiring damage 5. ECU connector Pin loose connection/Pin backout 6. ECU terminal damage or bend 1.MIL Lamp ON 2. Engine will go into Limp home mode. 3. Drive mode option may get disabled Lamp status: Check Engine Lamp off Malfunction Indicator Lamp on Checkpoints: 1. Check battery voltage at Ignition off (Nominal Range ~11.5 V to 12.8V)) Trouble Shooting Steps: Sr. No. Steps Specifications Step 1 Check connector is connected properly. Remove and connect again properly - Step 2 Check for continuity between IMV sensor connector pins 1, 2 and ECU pins (B3, B5 or B6) T87, A25, respectively. - Step 3 Check the ECU terminal pin for any damage or bend - Step 4 Check for continuity between rail pressure sensor and ECU pocket - Step 5 Check the IMV connector physically for any foreign particle and clean it - Step 6 If the problem persists, check by connecting a dummy IMV and check at idle whether the fault is cleared Don’t consider the overpressure fault when dummy IMV is fitted
