Injector Bank 2 (Cylinder 2 or Cylinder 3) high side pins short to Battery or ground 2. Faulty ECU 3. ECU terminal pin damage or bend 1. CE Lamp ON 2. Idle speed raised 3. Reduced vehicle performance 4. Vehicle Misfire possible 5. Vehicle might not start Lamp status: Check Engine Lamp on Malfunction Indicator Lamp off Checkpoints: 1. Check wiring harness connections related to injector circuit Trouble Shooting Steps: Sr. No. Steps Specifications Step 1 Check the Battery voltage. If Voltage out of Range, correct battery Nominal range – 11.5 V ~ 12.8V Step 2 Check if injector connector is fitted properly. Rectify if necessary - Step 3 Check for pin back outs on injector and ECU connector. Rectify if necessary - Step 4 Check the ECU terminal pin for any damage or bend - Step 5 Check for wiring harness circuit continuity between Cylinder 2 injector pins 1,2 to ECU pins A65, A86 respectively. Also Cylinder 3 injector pins 1,2 to ECU pins A64, A85 respectively. If there is any missing continuity, correct it. Refer circuit diagram Step 6 If problem persists, Replace ECU -
