Cylinder 1 injector high side drive short to low side 2. Injector 1 connector not connected or loose 3. Wiring harness connector fault 4. Faulty injector 5. Faulty ECU 6. ECU terminal pin damage or bend 1. MIL Lamp ON 2. Idle speed raised 3. Reduced performance 4. Vehicle Misfire possible 5. Vehicle might not start 6. NOx, DPF regeneration inhibited. Lamp status: Check Engine Lamp off Malfunction Indicator Lamp on Checkpoints: 1. Check for any damage in wiring harness related to injector circuit Trouble Shooting Steps: Sr. No. Steps Specifications Step 1 Check the Battery voltage at ignition off. Nominal range: 11.5 – 13 V Step 2 Check if injector connector is fitted properly. Rectify if necessary - Step 3 Check for any pin back out in injector or ECU connector. Rectify if necessary - Step 4 Check the ECU terminal pin for any damage or bend - Step 5 Check for any cross continuity between injector connector pins 1 to 2. Rectify if necessary Refer circuit diagram Step 6 Check injector coil electrical continuity Replace injector if continuity is not present - Step 7 If problem persists, Replace ECU - Verification condition: Drive the vehicle in city and highway condition.
