This document must not be used in any w ay, such as copying and redistributing to third parties, w ithout our consent Trouble Shooting Steps: Sr. No. Steps Specifications Step 1 Check crank shaft sensor connector is connected properly - Step 2 Check for continuity / open/ short between crank sensor connector pins and ECU pins - 1,2 to A78, A77 respectively - Step 3 Check the gap between the Crank sensor tip and flywheel sensing surface. Specified gap (0.5 to 1.5 mm) Step 4 Check for the proper fitment of the crank sensor - Step 5 Replace the crank sensor if the problem persists - Verification condition: Drive the vehicle in city and highway condition in engine warm up condition for 20 mins. Component Details: The crankshaft position sensor is to determine the position and/or rotational speed of the crank. ECU use the information transmitted by the sensor to control fuel injection. The sensor output is also related to other sensor data including the cam position to derive the current combustion cycle, this is very important for the starting of a four-stroke engine.
