Open or short in the circuit to the Throttle Actuator 2. Failed Throttle Actuator (mechanically or electrically) 3. Faulty ECU 1.CE Lamp ON 2.Fixed idle speed 3.Unable to accelerate engine 4.Reduced vehicle performance 5. Engine may not start 6. Disabled drive mode option Lamp status: Check Engine Lamp on Malfunction Indicator Lamp off Checkpoints: Check battery voltage at Ignition off (Nominal Range ~11.5 V to 12.8V)) Trouble Shooting Steps: Sr. No. Steps Specifications Step 1 Check open or short circuit to throttle actuator in the ECU pins–A42, A60, A66, A87 - Step 2 Check functionality of throttle actuator - Use service tool to demand 100% and 0% throttle position and verify whether the feedback is matching the demand. - Step 3 Check the ECU for any burn marks - Step 4 If the problem persists, Replace the ECU - Verification condition: Warm up the engine above 80degC and run the vehicle in city & highway condition for 20 mins
