Exhaust manifold temperature (T3) sensor open circuit 2. Check for loose or corroded T3 connectors 3. Broken wires or missing insulation may be causing a short directly to ground 4. T3 sensor failure 5. ECU connector loose connection 6. ECU connector pin backout 7. ECU terminal pin damage or bend 1. CE Lamp ON 2. Reduced vehicle performance 3. Disabled drive mode option Lamp status: Check Engine Lamp on Malfunction Indicator Lamp off Checkpoints: Check Battery Voltage at ignition off (Nominal range 11.5 – 12.8V), exhaust gas temperature, wiring harness Trouble Shooting Steps: Sr. No. Steps Specifications Step 1 Check for loose connection of ECU connector or T3 sensor connector - Step 2 Check the ECU terminal pin for any damage or bend. Check the ECU connector for any damage or pin backout - Step 3 Check for corrosion on connectors and terminals - Step 4 Check for broken wires and missing insulation - Step 5 Check the continuity of ECU connector pins – A38, A17 to the T3 sensor pins 1, 2 respectively - Step 6 If there is any missing continuity or cross continuity, correct the wiring. -
