Either of the VGT, TMAP sensor, Intake throttle, AMF sensor is short circuited 2. EMS ECU has internal short circuit 1. MIL lamp ON 2. Engine may not start or start then stop, 3. Engine hesitation and noise 4. Reduced vehicle performance 5. Disabled drive mode option Lamp status: Check Engine Lamp off Malfunction Indicator Lamp on Checkpoints: 1. Check battery voltage at Ignition off (Nominal Range ~11.5 V to 12.8V)) Trouble Shooting: Sr. No. Steps Specifications Step 1 Check for any damage or corrosion on connectors and terminals of ECU, VGT, TMAP sensor, Intake throttle, AMF sensor - Step 2 Check for broken wires and missing insulation - Step 3 Remove the ECU terminals and Check if any wire of VGT, TMAP sensor, Intake throttle, AMF sensor supply pin is short with ground. Pin nos. to be checked A5, A54, A60, B33 Use multimeter to check continuity Step 4 Check whether the supply voltage is 5 V in VGT connector pin no.5, TMAP sensor pin no.3, Intake throttle pin no.5, AMF sensor pin no.1 - Step 5 Remove VGT connector & connect it to new part. After 5 power latches with only ignition ON check. If fault is resolved replace that part. Repeat this process for TMAP sensor, Intake throttle and AMF sensor.
