Eitherof the EGR, DP sensor, CAMsensor, Fuel filter clog sensor, Accelerator pedal position sensors short circuited 2. EMS ECU has internal short circuit 3. ECU terminal pin damage or bend 4. ECU connector pin backout 1. MIL lamp ON 2. Engine may not start or start then stop, 3. Engine hesitation and noise 4. Reduced vehicle performance 5. Starting trouble 6. Disabled drive mode option Lamp status: Check Engine Lamp off Malfunction Indicator Lamp on Checkpoints: 1. Check battery voltage at Ignition off (Nominal Range ~11.5 V to 12.8V)) Trouble Shooting: Sr. No. Steps Specifications Step 1 Check for any damage or corrosion on connectors and terminals of ECU, EGR, DP sensor, CAM sensor, Fuel filter clog, Accelerator pedal position sensor - Step 2 Check for broken wires and missing insulation - Step 3 Check the ECU terminal pin for any damage or bend. Check the ECU connector for any pin backout - Step 4 Check whether the supply voltage is 5 V in wiring corresponding to EGR connector pin no. 6, DP sensor pin no. 1, CAM sensor pin no. 1, Fuel filter clog sensor pin no.1, Accelerator pedal position sensor connector pin no.1 - Step 5 Remove the ECU terminals and Check if any wire of EGR, DP sensor, CAM sensor, Fuel filter clog, Accelerator pedal position sensor supply pin is short with ground (A55, A56, A57, A58, B35, B36) Use multimeter to check continuity
