VGTH position sensor short to supply 2. Wiring damage 3. ECU terminal pin damage or bend 4. ECU connector pin backout 1. MIL Lamp ON 2. Poor engine response 3. Hesitation during acceleration 4. Decrease in fuel economy 5. Reduced vehicle performance 6. Disabled drive mode option Lamp status: Check Engine Lamp off Malfunction Indicator Lamp on Checkpoint: Check Battery Voltage at Ignition off (Nominal Range 11.5V ~ 12.8V) Trouble Shooting Steps: Sr. No. Steps Specifications Step 1 Check whether the VGT connector is connected properly. Remove and connect again properly - Step 2 Check the ECU terminal pin for any damage or bend. Check the ECU connector for any pin backout - Step 3 Check the continuity between VGT connector pin 1,2,3,4,5 and ECU connector pin A71, A92, A05, A08, A04 respectively. If there is any discontinuity, correct it - Step 4 Check the VGT actuator physically for any damage - Step 5 If the problem persists, replace the Turbo charger - Verification condition: Drive the vehicle in city and highway condition.
