VGTH sensor open circuit or short to ground 2. Damage in wiring 3. ECU connector pin backout 4. ECU terminal pin damage or bend 1. MIL Lamp ON 2. Reduced vehicle performance 3. Hesitation during acceleration 4. Decrease in fuel economy 5. Disabled drive mode option 6. Poor engine response Lamp status: Check Engine Lamp off Malfunction Indicator Lamp on Checkpoint: Check Battery Voltage at Ignition off (Nominal Range 11.5V ~ 12.8V) Trouble Shooting Steps: Sr. No. Steps Specifications Step 1 Check connector is connected properly. Remove and connect again properly. - Step 2 Check the ECU terminal pin for any damage or bend. Check the ECU connector for any pin backout - Step 3 Check the continuity between VGT connector pin 1,2,3,4,5 and ECU connector pin A71, A92, A05, A08, A04 respectively. If there is any discontinuity, correct it - Step 4 Check the VGT connector physically for any damage - Step 5 If the problem persists, replace the Turbocharger - Verification condition: Drive the vehicle in city and highway condition.
