O2 sensor 1 heater wiring open circuit 2. Failed or damaged heater circuit element inside the O2 sensor 3. ECU terminal pin damage or bend 4. ECU connector pin backout 1. MIL Lamp ON 2. Lengthened time needed to achieve closed loop 3. Possibly decreased fuel mileage depending on fault 4. Reduced vehicle performance 5. Disabled drive mode option Lamp status: Check Engine Lamp off Malfunction Indicator Lamp on Checkpoint: Check Battery Voltage at Ignition off (Nominal range 11.5V ~ 12.8 V) Trouble Shooting Steps: Sr. No. Steps Specifications Step 1 Check whether the O2 sensor 1 connector is connected properly - Step 2 Check the ECU terminal pin for any damage or bend. Check the ECU connector for any pin backout - Step 3 Check whether the ECU connector is connected properly - Step 4 Check the continuity between O2 sensor 1 pins 1,2,3,4 and ECU pins B3 or B5 or B6, B74, B26, B10respectively - Step 5 Check for any external damage in O2 sensor 1 - Step 6 If the problem persists, Replace the O2 sensor 1 -
