Slow response of O2 sensor 1 2. Defective O2 sensor 1 3. Carbon Buildup on O2 Sensor 1 4. Engine intake airpath/Exhaust leakage 5. Burnt, broken, or disconnected wiring and/or connectors 6. ECU terminal pin damage or bend 7. ECU connector pin backout 1. CE Lamp ON 2. Lowered fuel efficiency 3. A general lack of engine performance 4. Other related diagnostic trouble codes may also be stored Lamp status: Check Engine Lamp on Malfunction Indicator Lamp off Check Points: Check for any AMF, EGR, Throttle, MDP, VGT, ADC, Injector related faults. If present, address it first. Trouble Shooting Steps: Sr. No. Steps Specifications Step 1 Check for physical damage in O2 sensor(s)/ Connector - Step 2 Check for any damage in electrical wiring/Connector (Burnt or cut wire) - Step 3 Check the continuity between O2 sensor 1 pins 1,2,3,4 and ECU pins B3 or B5 or B6, B74, B26, B10respectively. - Step 4 Check the ECU terminal pin for any damage or bend. Check the ECU connector for any pin backout - Step 5 Check for foreign particles in the connector - Step 6 Check for any carbon Buildup on O2 Sensor. Clean the carbon deposits without damaging the O2 sensor. - Step 7 Check for Air or Exhaust leak. Arrest leakages. -
