VGT position feedback has not met the demand in the expected time 2. ECU terminal loose connection/Pin backout 3. ECU hardware malfunction 4. Exhaust leakage 1.CE Lamp On 2. Abnormal engine noise may be observed 3. Reduced vehicle performance 4. Disabled drive mode option Lamp status: Check Engine Lamp on Malfunction Indicator Lamp off Checkpoints: 1. Check battery voltage at Ignition off (Nominal Range ~11.5 V to 12.8V)) 2. Check for any other faults related to battery, ECU or throttle electrical faults. If present, address it first. Trouble Shooting Steps: Sr. No. Steps Specifications Step 1 Check whether the throttle connector is connected properly. Remove and connect again properly - Step 2 Check for continuity between Throttle connector 1,2,3,4, 5 and ECU pins A71, A92, A4, A8, A5 respectively - Step 3 Check the throttle connector physically for any damage/corrosion - Step 4 Check for any leakage in exhaust system. Arrest it, if leaking - Step 5 Perform VGT valve learning routines and check whether the fault is cleared - Step 6 Perform VGT actuator test using service tool. At engine not running condition, Demand 0% and 100% of throttle position. Throttle position feedback should match the demand -
