High voltage supply to VGT 2. Alternator cut off circuit failure 3. ECU hardware malfunction 4. ECU terminal pin damage or bend 5. ECU connector pin backout 1.CE Lamp ON 2.Reduced vehicle performance 3. Disabled drive mode option Lamp status: Check Engine Lamp on Malfunction Indicator Lamp off Checkpoints: 1. Check the Battery voltage at Ignition Off(Nominal range 11.5V – 12.8V) 2. Check for any battery related faults. If present, address it first. Trouble Shooting Steps: Sr. No. Steps Specifications Step 1 Check, VGT connector is connected properly. Check whether VGT to ECU connection is proper without any damage. - Step 2 Check whether the battery terminals are connected properly and they are tight. If not proper, do the necessary repair - Step 3 Check ECU connection: 1] Key off 2] Remove the ECU 3] Connect ECU connector Properly 4] Key on and Read the faults. Check the ECU terminal pin for any damage or bend. Check the ECU connector for any pin backout. If damaged, rectify it. - Step 4 Check the charging circuit – Alternator to battery wiring connection. In case of any problems in charging, do the necessary repair - Step 5 Check whether the battery voltage read by the multimeter is matching the batt voltage displayed in the service tool by ECU -
