IMV electrical resistance is low 2. IMV connector loose connection 3. Foreign particles/ water inside IMV connector 4. IMV Supply voltage > 14.5V 5. Electrical wiring damage 6. ECU connector loose connection/Pin backout 1.CE Lamp ON 2. Reduced vehicle performance 3. Disabled drive mode action Lamp status: Check Engine Lamp on Malfunction Indicator Lamp off Checkpoints: 1. Check battery voltage at Ignition off (Nominal Range ~11.5 V to 12.8V)) Trouble Shooting Steps: Sr. No. Steps Specifications Step 1 Check whether the IMV connector is connected properly. Remove and connect again properly - Step 2 Check for continuity between IMV sensor connector pins 1, 2 and ECU pins T87 (B3 or B5 or B6), A25, respectively. - Step 3 Check whether the ECU connector is connected properly - Step 4 Check for continuity between rail pressure sensor and ECU pocket - Step 5 Check the IMV connector physically for any foreign particle and clean it - Step 6 If the problem persists, check by connecting a dummy IMV and check at idle whether the fault is cleared Don’t consider the overpressure fault when dummy IMV is fitted
