Rail Pressure Sensor wiring short to supply 2. Wiring harness damage 3. ECU terminal pin damage or bend 4. ECU connector pin backout 1. MIL Lamp ON 2. Disables Speed pilot control routine service (SPCS) 3. Activates delayed engine stop request 4. Raised engine idle target speed 5. Disables engine drive mode i.e. Sport mode, Eco mode 6. Disables Cruise control function Lamp status: Check Engine Lamp off Malfunction Indicator Lamp on Checkpoint: Check battery voltage at Ignition off (Nominal range – 11.5V to 12.8V) Trouble Shooting Steps: Sr. No. Steps Specifications Step 1 Check Rail Pressure sensor physically for any damage - Step 2 Check whether the Rail pressure sensor connector is connected properly - Step 3 Check the ECU terminal pin for any damage or bend - Step 4 Check for any pin backout or damage in ECU connector or rail pressure sensor connector. - Step 5 Check for any damage in rail pressure sensor connector - Step 8 Water or Corrosion in connector or sensor - Step 6 Check the continuity between rail pressure sensor connector pins 1, 2, 3 and ECU connector pins A40, A46 & A19 respectively -
