This document must not be used in any w ay, such as copying and redistributing to third parties, w ithout our consent P1693-00: AC Blower Control Circuit Low Overview: DTC Code P1693-00 DTC Description as per ISO Standard AC Blower Control Circuit Low ECU Pin Number A37,A44,B88 Customer Symptom AC will not function and Blower will not get activated Fault Effects (On Vehicle) AC Compressor and Blower motor will not be engaged by EMS. Lamp Status (If Any) NA Fault Detection Condition This fault gets logged when either Blower position control module is not present or blower position input pin (A37) of EMS ECU is open circuited. Normal Operating Condition AC will function properly i.e. blower and AC compressor engagement will happen normally. Probable Trouble Area Wiring harness connections between EMS and AC Blower position detection module &EMS ECU. Healing Condition Clear the errors, Ignition OFF to ON, engine idle, fly-up and specially vehicle running in different speed condition, Blower and AC engagement for different position and fan speeds. Component Details: The air conditioning system is pressurized with a gas known as a refrigerant. The refrigerant flows through the lines in the air conditioning system to remove heat and moisture from the interior of your vehicle. It circulates it through the condenser, which disperses the heat into the air. The refrigerant is pressurized in the air conditioning system to operate properly, and it is monitored by the refrigerant pressure sensor. Based on the AC refrigerant pressure, EMS controls the AC Compressor and Cooling Fans. Preliminary Checks: Check whether the customer voice / view about the issue is matching with the fault effects mentioned above. If yes, go ahead with next steps. If not, check for other DTC’s presence. Check whether similar complaints are earlier reported. If yes, perform the preliminary checks with respect to earlier issue closure. AC Blower position module damaged or not present / its connector damaged? If so, rectify / replace Loose/ Damaged Connections between HVAC Panel, Blower position module and EMS ECU. Check for back out of pins at HVAC Panel, Blower position module and ECU connector. Check for damage of pins HVAC Panel, Blower position module and ECU connector.
