Accelerator Pedal Sensor 1 supply pin short circuit 4. EMS ECU has internal short circuit 6. CE lamp ON 7. Engine may not start or start then stop, 8. Engine hesitation and noise 9. Reduced vehicle performance 10. Disabled drive mode option Lamp status: Check Engine Lamp on Malfunction Indicator Lamp off Checkpoints: 2. Check the Battery voltage at Ignition Off(Nominal range - 11.5 V to 12.8 V) Trouble Shooting: Sr. No. Steps Specifications Step 1 Check for any damage or corrosion on connectors and terminals of ECU, Accelerator Pedal Sensor 1 - Step 2 Check for broken wires and missing insulation - Step 3 Remove the ECU terminals and Check if Accelerator Pedal Sensor 1 supply pin (B32) is short with ground Use multimeter to check continuity Step 4 Remove Acc pedal connector & connect it to new pedal. After 5 power latches with only ignition ON check. If fault is resolved replace Acceleration pedal. Replace part if has internal short circuit Step 5 If there is no short circuit in the wiring, disconnect the engine pocket from ECU and Check the continuity of ECU pin A46 in the ECU to ECU ground. If short circuit is identified, replace the ECU. Use multimeter to check continuity Verification condition:
