P060A-47 Invalid watchdog status: Software watchdog reset This fault may not be detectable with the diagnostic tool as TCU will fail to run. Overview: ISO Code P060A-47 Customer Symptom None Fault Effects (On Vehicle) None Lamp Status (If Any) Transmission fault lamp OFF Fault Detection Condition internal TCU error (FFT 100ms) Normal Operating Condition DCT TCU communicates properly on vehicle CAN BUS. Probable Trouble Area TCU damaged (internal TCU error (FFT 100ms)) Healing Condition The reaction is cleared at SW restart if the detection is FALSE for more than 0 ms Component Details: The invalid watchdog status Problem may occur due to an internal damage to TCU. Preliminary Checks: 1) Battery voltage 2) Check for damage or back out of pins at TCU connectors. 3) Check correct fitment of ground cable connections on vehicle chassis (tightness, corrosion of mounting bolts etc.) Trouble Shooting:- Step Checks IF YES IF NO 1. 1. Clear the DTC Check if the DTC does not come back. Go to step 2 2. Replace the TCU Clear the DTC and Check if the DTC does not come back. Go to step 3 3 Flash the adaption data from the previous TCU. Clear the DTC DTC’s confirmation:- After rectification, clear all DTC’s and ensure the following points by referring TCU parameters using TML diagnostic tool before handing over to customer. • Drive the vehicle through all gears in both Automatic and Manual modes • Ensure no DTC is active and Transmission Fault Lamp is OFF.
