P0613-04 TCU reset Overview: ISO Code P0613-04 Customer Symptom Critical malfunction. Powertrain is opened. Power loss immediately triggered Fault Effects (On Vehicle) Both Clutches is OPEN Transmission fault lamp is ON Lamp Status (If Any) Transmission fault lamp ON (Service indication 0x1) Fault Detection Condition internal TCU error (FFT 0ms) Normal Operating Condition DCT TCU communicated properly on vehicle CAN BUS. Probable Trouble Area TCU Damaged (internal TCU error (FFT 0ms)) Healing Condition The reaction is cleared during driving if the detection is FALSE for more than 1000 ms Component Details: The TCU reset Problem may occur due to an internal damage to TCU. Preliminary Checks: 1) Battery voltage 2) Check for damage or back out of pins at TCU connectors. 3) Check correct fitment of ground cable connections on vehicle chassis (tightness, corrosion of mounting bolts etc.) Trouble Shooting:- Step Checks IF YES IF NO 1. If DTC persists, replace the TCU, and clear DTC Go to step 2 2. Flash the adaption data from the previous TCU. Clear DTC DTC’s confirmation:- After rectification, clear all DTC’s and ensure the following points by referring TCU parameters using TML diagnostic tool before handing over to customer. • Drive the vehicle through all gears in both Automatic and Manual modes • Ensure no DTC is active and Transmission Fault Lamp is OFF.
