P062F-00 Internal Control Module EEPROM Error: generic failure Overview: ISO Code P062F-00 Customer Symptom • Transmission fault lamp ON Fault Effects (On Vehicle) • Transmission fault lamp is ON Lamp Status (If Any) Transmission fault lamp ON (Service indication 0x1) Fault Detection Condition internal TCU error with reading and writing to memory (FFT 0ms) Normal Operating Condition DCT TCU communicated properly on vehicle CAN BUS. Probable Trouble Area TCU Damaged (internal TCU error (FFT 0ms)) Healing Condition The reaction is cleared during SW restart if the detection is FALSE. Component Details: The Internal Control Module EEPROM Error: problem may occur due to an internal damage to TCU. Preliminary Checks: 4) Battery voltage 5) Check for damage or back out of pins at TCU connectors. 6) Check correct fitment of ground cable connections on vehicle chassis (tightness, corrosion of mounting bolts etc.) Trouble Shooting:- Step Checks IF YES IF NO 1. Clear the DTC. check if the DTC does not come back. Go to step 2 2. Replace the TCU if the problem persists and Flash the adaption data ((Complete EEPROM) from the previous TCU. Clear DTC DTC’s confirmation:- After rectification, clear all DTC’s and ensure the following points by referring TCU parameters using TML diagnostic tool before handing over to customer. • Drive the vehicle through all gears in both Automatic and Manual modes • Ensure no DTC is active and Transmission Fault Lamp is OFF.
