This document must not be used in any way, such as copying and redistributing to third parties, without the consent of author. • Resistance Check ➢ Disconnect connector Transmission side connector and check below resistance at transmission side connector terminal Measure Resistance (Ω) Component check PIN 23(T_SPEED_PWR) to transmission housing >500k ok External wiring harness and speed sensor Pin 16 (T_SPEED_1) to transmission housing >500k ok External wiring harness and speed sensor Pin 17(T_SPEED_2) to transmission housing >500k ok External wiring harness and speed sensor Pin 18(T_SPEED_3 ) to transmission housing >500k ok External wiring harness and speed sensor ➢ Remove vehicle connector from TCU, Disconnect speed sensor connector and check below resistance at speed sensor connector terminal Measure Resistance (Ω) Component check Pin 23 (T_SPEED_PWR) to transmission housing >500k ok TCU and External wiring harness Pin 16(T_SPEED_1) to transmission housing >500k ok TCU and External wiring harness Pin 17 (T_SPEED_2) to transmission housing >500k ok TCU and External wiring harness Pin 18(T_SPEED_3) to transmission housing >500k ok TCU and External wiring harness • Continuity Check Check continuity between pins/terminals of connector for specific speed sensor for which the DTC is triggered. DTC’s confirmation:- After rectification, clear all DTC’s and ensure the following points by referring TCU parameters using TML diagnostic tool before handing over to customer. • After key and engine ON with TML diagnostic tool connected, gradually pickup the vehicle and read Clutch speed values, check that they are non zero and gradually increasing with vehicle speed. • Drive the vehicle through all gears in both Automatic and Manual modes. • Ensure no DTC is active and Transmission Fault Lamp is OFF.
