Lamp Status (If Any) Transmission fault lamp ON Service indication 0x2 Fault Detection Condition Input shaft speed sensor connected to battery for >500ms. Normal Operating Condition TCU does not detect Short circuit to battery fault on TCU Pin 18. Probable Trouble Area 1. Wiring loom towards the turbine speed sensor. 2. Turbine speed sensor. 3. Damaged TCU. Healing Condition The reaction is cleared at SW restart and driving if the detection is FALSE for more than 1000 ms Component Details: The Speed sensor - pump shaft/input shaft used in clutch actuation module in order to precisely control the torque transferred by both clutches. Preliminary Checks: 1) Loose/ Damaged speed sensor Connections. 2) Check for damage or back out of pins at TCU andvehicle sensor connector. 3) Check correct fitment of ground cable connections on vehicle chassis. Trouble Shooting:- Step Checks IF YES IF NO 1. Check the wiring loom towards the input shaft speed sensor. If damaged, replace the transmission wiring harness. Is there any rust/oxidation/pin back out observed on TCU PIN 18 (input shaft speed) in Transmission side 28 pole connector? Clear the DTC and check if the DTC does not come back Go to step 2 2. If the fault is still active, replace the input shaft speed sensor. Clear the DTC and check if the DTC does not come back Go to step 3 3. Replace the TCU if the problem persists & flash the adaption data from the previous TCU. Clear the DTC and check if the DTC does not come back • Resistance Check ➢ Disconnect transmission side 28 pole connector (X-201) and check below resistance at (X-201) connector terminal
